PSAT Registration Information
The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) will be administered on Tuesday, October 28th at 7:30 a.m. at Hicksville High School for eleventh (11th) grade students enrolled at Hicksville High School. The PSAT helps you prepare for the SAT, a standardized test widely used for college admissions, by testing your math, reading, and writing skills. Beyond practice, high-scoring students in 11th grade can earn national recognition, including a National Merit Scholarship. Students enrolled in tenth (10th) grade who want earlier exposure to the exam may also choose to register.
The PSAT will be administered digitally utilizing student chrome books.
Registration is open ONLY from Monday, September 8th to Friday, September 19th, 2025. The cost of the examination is $19.00.
