- Academic Planning: Course selection, testing, and graduation tracking.
- Post-Secondary Readiness: College planning and group guidance.
Note: Student conferences are scheduled during lunch or study halls whenever possible to avoid missing class.
Hicksville Public Schools provides a challenging curriculum designed to build a strong academic foundation for college. Students are encouraged to push themselves by enrolling in:
- Honors-level courses
- College-level courses
- Advanced Placement (AP) courses (eligible for college credit/advanced standing)
Through proper planning with our guidance team, we are confident students will find and get into the college best suited for their future.
To ensure every student acquires the academic, career, and personal skills needed to reach their full potential and live as healthy, responsible, and productive citizens.
