Community Use of Facilities

Community Use of Facilities

The public schools are centers of community life, and not-for-profit, nonsectarian organizations may use the school facilities according to district regulations. Although the Board of Education encourages community groups to use school facilities for educational, cultural or recreational purposes, school-sponsored activities will take precedence in scheduling the use of schools or grounds.

Community use of the facilities and fields are governed by regulations of the Board of Education. Applications are required and inquiries should be directed to the Office of Facilities and Operations at the Administration Building by calling 733-2180.
